"On the tracks of our famous guests" is a cultural, interactive and geolocated tour through the Montreux Riviera region in Switzerland.
Offering two routes, one for hikers, the other for bikers, the tour is built around 25 public benches, dedicated to famous guests and spread across the destination.
Victor Hugo, Ernest Miller Hemingway, Charles Spencer Chaplin or even Lord Byron will be your guides along the trail to discover the places which inspired them.
With your smartphone or tablet indicating your position using GPS from the shores of Lake Geneva into the heart of the Lavaux vineyards, come and meet these illustrious guests, and who knows, maybe one day you will become a famous guest of the Montreux Riviera yourself?!
The tour proceeds as follows:
-Choose from the two suggested routes (on foot or by bike). You can also rent your e-bike via the application
-Visit the bench of your choice using our interactive map
-Sit down
-Learn more about the famous guest by reading his biography
-Listen to audio recordings while admiring the beauty of the landscape
